BMT’s Technical Specialists Take to the Stage at Coasts & Ports 2015

BMT WBM, the company that founded TUFLOW, took to the stage at the recent Coasts & Ports 2015 Conference in Auckland, New Zealand.

The Coasts and Ports Conference series is the pre-eminent forum in the Australasian region for professionals to meet and discuss issues extending across all disciplines relating to coasts and ports. It brings together engineers, planners, scientists, stakeholders and researchers to focus on the technological, scientific, policy, planning and design issues related to our diverse and developing coasts.

The conference provided an opportunity to present recent applications of TUFLOW FV, including:

  • Dredging-related water quality impact assessment within the Great Barrier Reef World Heritage Area
  • The assessment of capital works options to mitigate shoaling at a harbour entrance
  • Complex stratified flows in estuarine environments

The papers presented at the conference are available for download from the TUFLOW Library. For further information please contact Ian Teakle or Matt Barnes
