University of SA – Student Training in TUFLOW

undefinedThe University of Adelaide School of Civil, Environmental and Mining Engineering is using TUFLOW to teach practicals on flood modelling to a combined fourth year and Master’s level programme.  Students are receiving theory on rainfall-runoff processes, flood risk management and 2D numerical flood modelling, practical exposure to flood modelling using TUFLOW.  As part of the practicals students are creating TUFLOW models within ArcMap, giving them added benefit of exposure to a GIS.  TUFLOW was selected by The University of Adelaide after a period of industry consultation to identify the most commonly used flood modelling software used within the industry.
